Pottery Experiences:

Sign up to get a notification email. Experiences are lead by Matt or Christy, two experiences instructors. There is also a assistant instructor helping out.
Saturday Afternoon
2:30pm – 5:00pm
Saturday Evening
6:00pm – 8:30pm
The evening includes a detailed demonstration from the instructor on proper technique in centering, throwing and shaping on the pottery wheel. Pairings then take turns throwing on a wheel to make their first piece. A second demonstration will be provided followed by an opportunity for the duo to make a second piece. At the end of the class the pair can select which glaze they would like the instructor to use on the pieces.
The instructor will take the pieces, trim them so they have a nice clean bottom, glaze and fire the pieces. The pieces should be ready about three weeks later for pick-up.
Participants should expect a minimum of two(2) finished piece for the pair but more often three(3) or four(4) are done:).
The fun lasts between 2 & 3 hours, participants must be 18+ and the cost is ($135 + GST)/pair all tools and 4@350g cubes of clay are provided to each duo.
Pottery Experience pick up
All pieces completed in experience classes in January, February & March are ready for pick up Monday-Thursday 6-8pm.
April pieces will be ready the week of May 26th;
Monday-Thursday 6-8pm.
There are no refunds/ date changes if cancelled within 48hours of the class.
There is a $20 fee if date changes are required before the 48hours.
